“Loyal and efficient work is a great cause even though it may not be immediately recognized, ultimately bears fruit”.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               - Jawahar lal Nehru

“We all were children once. We shall share the desire for the wellbeing of our children which has always been and will continue to be the most universally cherished aspiration of humankind.” A day marking childhood. The day is celebrated to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter popularly known as cha-cha. Children’s day was celebrated at Credence High School with great enthusiasm with focus on children and their enjoyment. Celebrations began with a Special Assembly in our school Auditorium and this time it was the teachers who prepared and performed everything for the children. The teachers began right from conducting the assembly to performing a mix of Fusion and Indian dance. The teachers sang and enacted on stage to entertain the children. There was a lot of excitement and enjoyment in the air. Amongst these was a MIME show for the children with a message to stay positive and never dishearten for little things that we don’t get in life.

The auditorium was buzzing with excitement and joy of colorfully dressed children. The event was a grand splendor and fiesta for the students and our teachers thoroughly enjoyed organizing the whole theme with ‘love from teachers to students’.

Animals are of constant fascination to children and we at Credence believe that physical appearance, such as clothing, is one of the major influence in children’s knowledge attribution. To help differentiate between Pet and Wild animals, we had conducted a Special Assembly on Monday, 13th November 2017, where in our Little One’s from KG 2 F ‘Fabulous Fish’ took over the stage to showcase their talent all decked up in their most favorite animal costumes. They were at their best in terms of talent and confidence and spoke marvelously well in front of the crowd. Each child was given a chance to introduce which animal they were representing while they were divided into two groups with one group representing the ‘Wild Animals’ and the other  representing ‘Pet Animals’. In the end children enthusiastically and joyfully sang and danced to the tune ‘Animal Boogie’. It was a great experience for the children to perform on stage in front of their parents, teachers and friends and a treat for the parents to see their child perform on the stage. All in all the audience had some fun kindergarten jungle ride.

              Sharjah International Book Fair

“There are many little ways to enlarge your child’s world. Love of books is the best of all”.

                                                                              - Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis

Books are a mirror of one’s soul which enrich the mind and soothe the heart. Books introduce us into the best society whereas knowledge is gained from the real life experiences. Inculcating a love for books and reading is a habit that catapults a child to succeed and achieve greatness. In line with the vision of seeing UAE as a cultural and reading talent and to spread the wealth of knowledge that reading provides, Credence High School organized a visit to the Sharjah Book Fair for all the students of Grade 3 to 8 on Thursday, 9th November 2017.

On reaching the Sharjah book fair the whole area wore a festive look with a unique arrangement and a great crowd all over the fair. There were lot of bookstalls beautifully decorated. Every book stall was full of various kinds of books. The children enjoyed the fair and picked books varying from science to spooky stories; from puzzles to poems; and from fiction to facts. The teachers equally helped the children in selecting the books. The children wished the fair to last for a longer time as it would give them an opportunity to read and access more informative literature besides their efficiency loaded school library. Besides picking their favorite books the children also participated in some fun activities like art work and cooking corner. The overall trip to the book fair was very memorable and the children thoroughly enjoyed it.

Competitions play a vital role in motivating students to perform and excel and offer a lot more reward than just the winning prize. Competitions offer a chance for participants to gain substantial experience, showcase skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes which helps them uncover personal aptitude. We at Credence encourage our students to be a part of such competitions .With full zeal some of our bright sparks participated in the Kidzania Braniac 2 Quiz Competition conducted by Emaar Entertainment at KidZania Main Plaza Theatre located at ‘The Dubai Mall’.

They were 5 students each from Grade 3, 4, 5 and 6 respectively who competed against another school of the same Grade. Every round was a mixed bag with different types of questions from Grammar, Math, Science and Geography where each correct answer earned them 10 points and any wrong answer deducted 5 points as well. The quiz master conducted the quiz in a very interactive way and the teams participated with great enthusiasm. Though some of the questions were tricky, the teams tried to answer them skillfully and with full confidence. This competition was all about being fast in punching the buzzer. The team who was quick in pressing the buzzer were the ones who got the chance to answer first. It was a remarkable competition which was more than just a quiz. It was a good opportunity for our children as it developed and improved their soft skills. It proved to be a great source of self-evaluation for students and will surely help to nurture their experience and skills further.

“BOOKS”. Books are the best gift you can give to someone. A same book read twice gives you knowledge in two different ways. The more a child reads, the larger their vocabulary becomes. With fluency and comprehension comes greater reading confidence and to bring about this confidence our Grade 1C students performed a wonderful skit, ‘The Boy who hates to read’ with a well-choreographed song that conveyed the message of how important it is to read books and how reading books can change one’s life.

The parents could witness the children’s pleasing smiles, positive attitude, and confidence while they gave a dynamic performance enacting their characters. The children were at their best grabbing all the attention from parents leaving them speechless with their vivacious presentation.

The Central Board of Secondary Education - popularly known as CBSE is an Indian curriculum board. Choosing the best CBSE schools has the added benefit of gaining greater knowledge in academic as well as extra-curricular activities.

A good education depends entirely on the person providing it. Many schools introduce new and innovative methods of study to be on par with international standards of education but do not have the requisite qualified staff.

Benefits of choosing Indian schools :

                        International Recognition

The Indian School education system is the 11th largest in the world, with more than 100 million students enrolled in thousands of colleges and universities.

A certificate or degree issued by the CBSE is universally acceptable. Indian CBSE curriculum is internationally recognized in more than 24 countries. The well-researched curriculum is at par with international standards and the certificates are equally accredited throughout the world. Credence high school being the most sought after and best Indian schools in Dubai, strives to create a generation full of productive, contributing, and fulfilled members of society, who aim to carve their own unique paths. Our students have been accepted by top universities around the globe.

                        Ease to relocate

Another benefit of CBSE curriculum is its ease of relocation. Parents who have transferable jobs find it difficult to find schools for their kids mid session, with CBSE transferring child/ren mid-session becomes easier as all CBSE schools have a uniform syllabus and exam structure everywhere, so it does not matter if your ward is joining any time of the year, he or she can easily cope with the syllabus.

                        Developing Holistic Individuals

Indian schools (CBSE curriculum) follows a cumulative approach to its syllabus, which means there is a continuity and link to previous topics of study. The advantage of this approach is that it makes remembering simple. At Credence we offer our students inclusive and holistic learning, hence students from Pre-KG to Grade 12 relate to what they had studied.

                        Academically Recognized

CBSE Board is known for its emphasis on theoretical and practical knowledge, which helps students to gain a deeper understanding of various subjects. All the medicine and engineering competitive exams are set by the CBSE board and the syllabus is based on the NCERT books, from which the students study. CBSE students have a higher chance of succeeding in competitive exams like NEET, JEE or AIEEE IIT-JEE, PMT, NDA, and CDS

Credence High School is one of the best Indian schools in Dubai where we strive to create a happy environment to engender a perpetual love of learning among our students. Our students learn through the exploration of a well-structured yet dynamic CBSE curriculum.
