“The Earth does not belong to us: We belong to the Earth” – Marlee Matlin

Intent- Credence High School is committed to the well-being of the environment of this country. In the same spirit we supported the ‘Can Collection Campaign’ initiated by the EEG (Emirates Environmental Group) and all the students were encouraged to collect as many aluminum cans as they can from their homes or surroundings and deposit the same to be further recycled and take a step towards the aim of zero waste in landfills.

Experience: The students took the initiative in the true spirit and collected a large number of cans in the span of 15 days of the drive. Students along with their parents not only collected the cans from their homes but also walked an extra mile and approached the stores, cafes and restaurants in their surroundings and collected cans in big numbers.

The cans were then deposited at the EEG center on the ‘Can Collection Day’ - Thursday, 28th February 2019 and it was heartening to see that our contribution amounted to 16 kilograms of aluminum cans.

Insight: Building aware and responsible global citizens is our prime responsibility and we have successfully achieved it. This is for all of us to learn and realize the benefits of recycling and work towards achieving the overall objective of zero waste in landfills.

“Poem is when an emotion has found its thoughts and the thought has found its words”   - Robert Frost

Intent- Poetry and Rhymes help to develop self-expressions. When reciting poem children are given the freedom to express feelings to their audience. It is a form of self-expression with the creativity of words and emotion to convey a message to the audience. Children developed rhythm and learnt new vocabulary words. Poem recitation helped children to develop memorization skills as well.

Experience:  The students of KG2 recited the Arabic poem with expression and intonations. They recited the poem on the Arabic alphabets and on the days of the week. They recited and sang together in a group. They appreciated and listened to each other and learned the different poems.

      Cross Curriculum Link –Arabic

Insight: The Arabic poem recitation helped children to understand that  not only are the words used to give a meaning to the poem, but the voice, volume, inflexion, pitch, pauses and speed of a person contributes to the entire recitation experience as well, enhancing the meaning of the poem.

And in so doing, the children brought poem to life with the passion and vocal expression.

The kids assumed the role of a teacher. They had fun learning and communicating with a different age group. It renews their sense of optimism and opens us up to new possibilities.

A good education depends entirely on the person providing it. Many schools introduce new and innovative methods of study to be on par with international standards of education but do not have the requisite qualified staff.

Benefits of choosing Indian schools :

              International Recognition

The Indian School education system is the 11th largest in the world, with more than 100 million students enrolled in thousands of colleges and universities.

A certificate or degree issued by the CBSE is universally acceptable. Indian CBSE curriculum is internationally recognized in more than 24 countries. The well-researched curriculum is at par with international standards and the certificates are equally accredited throughout the world. Credence high school being the most sought after and best Indian schools in Dubai, strives to create a generation full of productive, contributing, and fulfilled members of society, who aim to carve their own unique paths. Our students have been accepted by top universities around the globe.

              Ease to relocate

Another benefit of CBSE curriculum is its ease of relocation. Parents who have transferable jobs find it difficult to find schools for their kids mid session, with CBSE transferring child/ren mid-session becomes easier as all CBSE schools have a uniform syllabus and exam structure everywhere, so it does not matter if your ward is joining any time of the year, he or she can easily cope with the syllabus.

              Developing Holistic Individuals

Indian schools (CBSE curriculum) follows a cumulative approach to its syllabus, which means there is a continuity and link to previous topics of study. The advantage of this approach is that it makes remembering simple. At Credence we offer our students inclusive and holistic learning, hence students from Pre-KG to Grade 12 relate to what they had studied.

              Academically Recognized

CBSE Board is known for its emphasis on theoretical and practical knowledge, which helps students to gain a deeper understanding of various subjects. All the medicine and engineering competitive exams are set by the CBSE board and the syllabus is based on the NCERT books, from which the students study. CBSE students have a higher chance of succeeding in competitive exams like NEET, JEE or AIEEE IIT-JEE, PMT, NDA, and CDS

Credence High School is one of the best Indian schools in Dubai where we strive to create a happy environment to engender a perpetual love of learning among our students. Our students learn through the exploration of a well-structured yet dynamic CBSE curriculum.
