INTENT: Teaching children the importance of giving back is essential. On Friday, May 10, 2024, we celebrated 'SEWA Day' during a Special Assembly. 'SEWA,' meaning selfless service, is about performing acts of kindness without expecting rewards. This concept is deeply ingrained in every society.
EXPERIENCE: The assembly began with students Aysha and Abhinav discussing the indispensable role of our support staff, followed by a recitation of the Holy Quran and a special prayer for their well-being. A touching video recognized the staff's hard work and dedication. The school choir performed a beautiful song, and students expressed their appreciation through a dance. The highlight was presenting appreciation certificates to a few support staff members, bringing joy and pride to their faces. The ancillary staff showcased their talents with incredible performances. The Principal concluded with an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of recognizing and valuing the support team’s efforts. Overall, the assembly was a touching celebration of the invaluable contributions of our support staff.
